Deepening Your Practice and Learning to Guide Others
Levels Three and Four represent the heart of the Reiki Master journey, a time of deep personal growth, expanded intuition, and, if you feel called, the opportunity to support others on their own healing paths.
In Level Three – SHINPIDEN, Reiki becomes something you embody. You receive the Master Symbol, which strengthens your connection to the energy and supports profound inner shifts. This level helps you understand yourself more clearly, trust your intuition more naturally, and hold space for deeper healing with a grounded, steady presence. It isn’t about perfection, it’s about stepping into your own alignment and inner wisdom.
Level Four – Master Teacher builds on that foundation for those who wish to share Reiki through teaching and attunements. Here, you learn how to guide students, give attunements confidently, and communicate the teachings in a way that feels authentic to you. This level is as much about personal integrity and heart-led leadership as it is about technique. Together, Levels Three and Four support you in becoming a practitioner and potentially a teacher who is confident, compassionate, and deeply connected to the lineage and purpose of Reiki.
Prerequisite:
Completion of Reiki Level II (Okuden) is required.
In alignment with the Gendai Reiki tradition, you must have completed Level II a minimum of two years prior to beginning Level III – Shinpiden.
This time of integration honors the natural unfolding of Reiki within your spirit, your intuition, and your daily life; ensuring the path of Mastership is walked with grounded readiness and sacred responsibility.
As a Reiki Master You Will…

Receive the fourth and final symbol

Experience Reiju and learn how to transmit its subtle power to your students

Learn to attune others at all levels of Usui Reiki Ryoho

Be supported by the Gendai Reiki Association materials, manuals for all levels, rooted in tradition and international integrity and recognition

Receive your certificate as a Shihan (Teacher) in the Gendai Reiki lineage

Carry and protect a potent Reiki lineage with honor, humility, and clarity
